Horse Country Farm Lease Hours (By Appointment): Mondays: 12 PM - 5:30 PM (depending on Daylight Savings Time), Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays: 9AM - 5:30 PM. ALL HORSE COUNTRY FARM LEASES INCLUDE:Western & Bareback Riding Lessons ~ at No Additional Cost. Horse comes with saddles, pads, bridles, daily care, feed, grain, hoof trims, & vet care.
 Ride, ride, ride! Have fun, fulfill your horsy dreams, September to June. Most Tack and Equipment are supplied.Practice riding in arenas, corrals and on trails.Trail Rides, Games, Patterns & Drill! Make new friends ~ four-footed and two. Mentoring & Friendship. We've had a riding good time in this location since 1977, SO bring lots of long, skinny carrots and a sack lunch when you come to ride. What do Leasers do on their riding days?

*Our Leaser days (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays) are full of horsy activities like this: 9:00 On Saturdays our Leasers arrive and help with Horsy Morning Chores. After the morning meeting, leasers greet their horses. Then, everyone sets up their Grooming Stations to groom and saddle in the Indoor Arena. More advanced riders may groom and saddle in their horses' stalls. 10:00 Groom and Saddle Time 11:00 Morning Riding Lesson 12:30 Lunch Time in the Party Barn, Office or at the Party Barn. 1:30 Afternoon Riding Lesson followed by Games on Horseback, Patterns & Drill, Young Horse Class, or other agreed-upon horsy riding activity. 3:30 "Pony Yoga" - Stretching Exercises for the horses and leasers help with Horsy Afternoon Chores. 4:30 Leasers sign out and log their horsy hours during the end of the day meeting. *This schedule is subject to change on leaser event days, i.e. our parties on horseback and depending on barn - student - horsy conditions and is shorter during the winter because Daylight Savings Time ends. When the days are longer, we ride longer.

Did you use all your horsy hours this month? Is the answer YES? UPGRADE TO MORE HOURS! Is the answer NO? Then, roll 'em over to next month. Remember ALL HORSY HOURS must be used during the life of the lease.
 Horse Country Farm "horsy-time" includes all time spent at the farm, i.e. grooming your horse, saddling, riding lessons, trail rides, games on horseback, hand-grazing your horse, hanging out with your horse and other club members and attending/participating in special events.
New "Some-Timer" Leases for folks who only have a short time to ride!Month to Month LeasesFirst & Last Month Paid at the beginning of the lease, THEN PAY BY THE MONTH. The lease will continue as a month-to-month agreement. No Hidden Fees, i.e. No Join-Up Fee, No Transfer Fee when changing horses, No board for your lease horse. Got Questions? Call,or e-mail us. Other Short Horse Leases

Year-Round Leases offer the best prices. However, Horse Country Farm also offers shorter time periods for our horse leases ~ monthly, 6 month and 9 months with nominal surcharges. These fees are in addition to the regular monthly lease price.

Barn Helper Discounts

In order to keep our lease prices as low as possible, these are the current barn helper discounts for kids, tweens, teens and adults. You can work a little and ride a lot more. All horsy work must be performed successfully to maintain barn helper discounts.
Helping with horsy chores, 1 day per month: C.I.T.s/Interns - $12.50 off your lease per month. Cowgirls/Cowboys - $10.00 off your lease per month. Helping with horsy chores, 2 days per month: C.I.T.s/Interns - $25.00 off your lease per month. Cowgirls/Cowboys - $20.00 off your lease per month. Helping with horsy chores, 3 days per month: C.I.T.s/Interns - $37.50 off your lease per month. Cowgirls/Cowboys - $30.00 off your lease per month. Helping with horsy chores, 4 days per month: C.I.T.s/Interns - $50.00 off your lease per month. Cowgirls/Cowboys - $40.00 off your lease per month.
